In the past year, Assistance League of Conejo Valley, which is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, has returned over $90,000 to the community through its philanthropic programs. This figure represents 80% of our total fundraising.

We are happy to accept cash donations, bequests, trusts, grants and tributes.
In 2009, our new premier fundraiser was "Books and Looks" featuring internationally acclaimed best-selling author Lisa See was presented at the Hyatt in Westlake Village on October 21, 2009.
Attendees were able to have books signed by Ms See and isten to her discuss her work.
In addition, there were opportunities to shop at some fabulous boutiques, take part in a number of wonderful raffle opportunities, including a Dream Vacation for two to Kauai donated by Great Hawaii Vacations and Starwood Hotels, enjoy a delicious lunch in the beautifully decorated Grand Ballroom and watch an "After Five" fashion show presented by California and Main of Ventura.
On October 20, 2010. we will repeat this event, with Kate Jacobs, the best selling author of The Friday Night Knitting Club, Knit the Season and Comfort Food. as the featured author.
In addition, we are introducing another new fundraiser, "Kitchens and Cooks Tour," which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 16.

We also have a Direct Mail Campaign, which takes place in the Fall, with mailers sent out to the community.
