Mission Statement

ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Conejo Valley is a nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers
who identify, develop, implement, and fund ongoing philanthropic programs
to improve the lives of children and adults in our community
NAL is a non profit volunteer organization dedicated to
the promotion and growth of effective volunteerism
through leadership training and education.
Assistance League of Conejo Valley is an all volunteer, non-profit organization committed to philanthropic community programs and is a part of a national organization, Assistance League, comprised of 120 chapters. (click to view an informational video) Every year the more than 26,000 members volunteer in excess of 2.6 million hours to provide valuable programs to their local communities. As a national organization we have raised over $36,000,000 to manage and fund many different types of philanthropic programs, thus improving the lives of more than 1.2 million children, seniors and others in need across the country.

The Conejo Valley chapter was founded in 1995 and chartered in September 2000.   Many organizations raise money for philanthropy.  We raise money to manage our own programs which are exclusively staffed by our members.  We have no paid staff so 100% of our donations and grant funds support our philanthropic programs. Approximately 80% of the fundaising dollars we receive are allocated to these programs. Our programs originate from the needs of the community so we constantly evaluate our activities to make sure we meet these needs as they arise.

By participating in the many programs sponsored and run by Assistance League, members have a chance to enrich their own lives learning new skills and meeting new challenges while making a difference in the quality of life of their community.  For information on our current programs, please click the PHILANTHROPIC PR0GRAMS button on the navigation toolbar on the left side of this page.

We look forward to hearing from you.  Please use the Guest Book button to leave us a message or request additional information about any of our programs or upcoming events.
